    shit and no.

It isn't hard to prepare meals, and you don't need to be a chef. Just get better organized.

Its just Im really trying to eat right I cut drinking, cut the pop and the junk food. Its just before I could barely decide what I wanted to eat for supper.
Nevermind decide and prepare what to eat for 6 meals a day.

It isn't that hard. Intially it may be a struggle, but as you get a routine going, it is a piece of cake.

Just like anything, when you start something new, it takes a little while to adapt.

Yeah, those meals are pretty much crap. I agree that you dont have to be a great chef to plan your meals (and make them), but it does take preparation and time.

Do you have a grill (gas, charcoal, Foreman)? If so, I find that is by far the easiest way for me to prepare quick meals. Just throw some chicken breasts/fish fillets/an occasional steak on the grill and you are good to go. Marinating the meat beforehand is really simple, and they even sell marinades at the grocery store if you dont want to make your own. YOu can also make/buy grilling sauce to brush on the meat before and while its on the grill. Tastes great.

If you dont have a grill, you can always just bake or broil some chicken or fish in the oven. Pretty easy to do -- do a google search for some basic recipes.

Beyond meat, it is beyond easy to just pop a sweet potato in the microwave or oven. Its also pretty easy to cook brown rice: measure out 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water into a pot. Turn it up to med-high and leave until the water is gone. Or just buy a rice cooker. Veggies -- salad, or buy other raw veggies. You could also throw asparagus on the grill which is delicious.

It does take preparation to eat well. This means buying enough food at the grocery store for the week, and planning out your meals. It also means buying some tupperware to bring pre-made meals with you to work/school whatever.

Like Ian said, it eventually will become a routine and much easier to plan your meals. At first it was hard as hell for me too, but I got used to it and it became a normal part of life.

    They're right.

Cook on Sundays for the whole week and get some small containers to take to work.

Learn to prepare healthy wholesome balanced meals, or don't expect to make progress. I eat 6 meals a day, and I spend a maximum of one hour per day preparing all of those meals. It takes 10 minutes to fry some eggs, and make old fashioned oatmeal. It takes 30 seconds to prepare a container of cottage cheese and a banana.

Get use to preparing proper meals, or just say fuck it to improving your body, because diet is probably 90% of training and living healthy.

i never really was a fan of any kind of tv dinner shit anyways. dont know why, just never cared for them. i make enough food for 4-7 days, and i do it at night usually. whenever i have an hour, hour ½ to spare. theres no excuses or reasons as to why you cant prepare meals really..i mean if anything they make tuna in a pouch, you rip off the top and blam ! bring you a plastic fuckin fork and youre good to go. 20g of protein right there. grilled chicken strips, throw them in a container and take them with you, theyre just as good cold as they are heated up to me, good shit. put some protein powder in a shaker cup or whatever, find you some water, protein shake for the win. chicken breasts arent hard to make, either. protein bars if anything? i could go on and on probably.

It's already been said, but they are garbage. I wouldn't even eat one for a cheat meal.

it's not uncommon for me to cook a pound of shrimp, 4 servings of whole wheat pasta and eat it in one sitting so having a big meal is not going to affect progress. try starting off with making meals that total your calorie/macro goals for the day and eat that 3 times a day instead of 6. it's been over 2 months since i started eating 3 meals a day and with the same calories and macros, i still make the same progress as when i was eating 6 meals a day. you don't have to start off making 6 meals in 6 containers of 6 different types of food. start off simple.

Im not the most knowledgeable person around here, but I thought the body can only process so much protein in one sitting. I think Ive heard estimates of like 40-60 grams for each meal. If that is the case, then there might be a reason (beyond raising metabolism) for spacing out meals.
