Holly crap you really are skinny. I wouldn't be trying to lose weight if I were you.

Any fighting where they put you in a weight division, it is beneficial to be skinny. However, if you real goal is professional MMA fighting with the big boys, <150 pounds probably isn't going to cut it.

If they were 2-3% BF they would be dead you dumb ass.

Getting as light as possible and getting as light as you need to be for your overall frame in order to still be effective are two different things.

Why do you want to lose weight? Is it just so you can train in a different weight class?

under 6% for very long is not healthy for the body. your body needs fat. no, you should not cut weight. at 6 foot you should be building muscle. go look at the stats of you favorite MMA fighters. look at height, weight and build/body type. try and match up to what you see. trust me its not 6 foot 145

    You are fucking 15.

Use your fucking head. School is your number 1 priority, and getting in adequate calories to help learn and educate yourself is number 1.

So yes losing that weight is dangerous. You are already borderline retarded, any worse and you might as well just swallow those razors you keep in your mouth.

If you are going to get wrecked at 160.... then you will more then likely get wrecked at 145.

You want to lose 12 pounds? That's easy: spit, don't swallow.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Didn't you say in another thread you would kick ass on anyone on this site in ANY style of fighting?

If you want to be a professional MMA fighter getting wrecked at the 160 weight division will teach you a lot more than be competitive at a lower division.

I have been wrestling for 6 years and I have 5 city championship and a silver medal in provincials (Canadian) for wrestling so this is probably the best advice u get on these boards I think. Is it safe to loose weight I don’t know if it safe but from the form members replies I going to take it as its not in your situation.

So from experience I am 5’8 ish 18years and 165 pounds that’s my natural weight where my body like to stay around if not I intense conditioning I had the same stats when I was in high school wrestling last year. So your currently in that weight class, I will tell u a lot of wrestlers at least I faced where between 5’5 and 6’0 and the best ones where around 5’7 they usually build with good size and but where very agile with very low center of balance compared to most wrestlers. And u being 6’1 will get demolished in there for sure your legs will be open to get shot at all the time and if u try to lock up it will be easier for them to get inside position on you to. But all the things I listed can be overcome with skill and practice. If I where you I would gain weight like mad and try to get in to 180 at least and in the off season go up to 200 and train and cut back down to 180 before the season starts again. All in all just practice hard if you stay in 160 practice good shot defense and sprawling and learning the wizer can save ur life to.

    Have fun

WOW....I guess theres nothing left to say. In case the message wasn't clear enough. I think what they are trying to say is, stay in school and leave IM until your 18th b-day.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

I am saying that you should gain weight like get in to the highest weight class u possibly can for right now and stop when ur in 82kg and see how u feel and change accordingly that’s ur best bet for success but that all can be over come with skill and technique.
