I just go with a few bumps of pure columbian in the morning, a little on the gums and I'm all set.

Seriously though, I go to the local Tim Hortons and score a LG dbl/dbl and I'm on my way.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

You have to use a coarse grind.

French presses are great. Although I use mine mostly for mate' and other teas.

Mate' is a nice pick-me-up. I mix green with roasted and add some stevia leaf.

Yeah, I have the 3 shots of espresso before I go work out, and I put a packet of instant coffee into my post workout shake. It's great.

I've been going there the sparingly this summer/fall because I've had this gift card and a new one opened up on campus that I like to study at. I usually go with iced coffee just because it's a taste I can tolerate, but I want to try something more wintery.

What warm coffee or tea would you get from Starbucks and feel safe drinking?
I get an Americano with Splenda and a little but of milk every single day.

Holy smokes, thats a crapload of $$. Have you seriously thought about purchasing a home espresso machine? Not a shitbox one though, a quality unit costing a grand and upwards. My sister got one recently, and I must say that It is quite lovely. She was also spending heaps on takeaway coffees, but the real thing is, because she works in the CBD she still buys a fair bit of coffee.

Do you hit it just in the morning for a caffeine infused wake-up call? or sipping on joe throughout the day? I used to love my coffees, all the time, but I was working at the cafe when I was at uni, so it was all free I dont buy it now, cos im a tight bastard!

I am so glad I've never gotten into coffee. With my personality type (very impulsive and indulging) and with coffee shops on every single block, I'd be a very broke college student (at least for another week.. after that, I'd be a very broke college grad ).

Are there any long term side effects from excess caffiene intake? I drink at least 4 cups of joe a day... Sometimes even more.... And I drink the occasional rockstar...

They may increase the growth of benign tumors.

And if you have very high blood pressure you should probably avoid more than a cup a day.

    Other than that, nah...

heard of some heart arrhythmias and possible valve problems but its rare and requires huge amounts of caffeine. I don't think they're permanent things though.
