Yeah, those instant oatmeal packets have alot of sugar, but they taste good. I eat them almost every morning anyway, usually like 1 1/2 packets. I eat breakfast so early, like 5:40am, I'm not too worried about the sugar, I've got all day to burn it off. The cinnamon roll flavor is the best.

Anyone care to share a oatmeal recipe. I really enjoy the maple and brown sugar but obviously the sugar intake is a little high. I would love to hear what some of you do to your morning meal.

Those pre-packaged flavoured oatmeal thingys are full of sodium/sugar. I usually have plain oatmeal w/ a packet of sweetner. I also add one of the following:
1 tbsp nat. p/b scoop protein sliced banana chopped apple w/ cinnamon The p/b is my fav though ![]() |

Hey,
Sometimes I have a plain bowl of Oatmeal with only strawberries or blueberries added. It's really good. I don't need to add anything else. Just Oatmeal, water and fruit. I also put oatmeal in my pancakes now. It's good (karategirl brought that one up to me). |
