well, obviously increasing calories is how you gain weight the problem is if you increase them too much the weight is going to be fat, what exactly is your goal as far as the weight gain?

    What Prince said.

If you want mostly muscle with little fat (good muscle to fat ratio), go for a clean bulk. You can't gain that much more muscle by going 1000 calories over your maintenance anyway. Your body has a limited ability to build muscle.

If you just want to weigh more, you can go crazy with your diet and eat as much as you want. Even then I would use 90%+ clean foods though. You don't want to impair your health.

Creatine will store some water weight. I'd go with whey weight-gainer shakes pre and post work-out.

Adding blubber won't help in the ring. Boxing or MMA?

    Translation:

I'm wondering why you would be wanting to gain weight for a fight, as most people are trying to loose weight to get into the lower weight classes?

Like above, weight gain is how much you eat. By eating more than you currently do and sticking to lean protein, good carbs, healthy fats, fruits and vegetables you will put on weight and gain minimal fat. Of course if you eat too much it will turn to fat.

    No need to gain weight!

Just eat 500 calories a day, buy a nylon suit that makes you sweat, and have Danny81 train you.

Dude , size doesnt always matter... this kid could b a slow, fat fuck... in which case a smaller guy will beat his ass if he is even decent at fighting. And don't just go down on one punch... then even the girls will b fucking with you. Stay in there and fight until either u knock him out or he knocks u out, don't take the pussy way out. If he is that much bigger than you, if u lose it's like ur supposed to, and any good hit u get in makes u look good so stay in there and do what u can, maybe ull surprise urself. cliche but true "not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
If you're gonna bury me.... bury me big!!
