    Stomachache from multivitamin?

I notice that after I take my multivitamin I sometimes get pain in my abdominal area for a little bit. Its kind of annoying in the mornings and was wondering if this is normal? I take one a day multivitamin, does the brand have something to do with it?

When I first started up, I took my multivitamin in the morning on a pretty much empty stomach (I'd have a protein shake most mornings, but some mornings I was rushed and couldn't finish it) and I'd always get a stomachache to the point where I'd dry heave in the bathroom. Once I realized not to take the damn vitamin unless I had food in my stomach to help break it down, I haven't had a stomachache since. Odds are, thats your problem.

the main reason for that is because you are taking a cheap multi-vitamin. Im a sport nutritionist, and a lot of people ask me why vitamin pills make you sick. The reason???its not good for you. If you had a million dollar race horse would you give it the cheapest supplements??Or the best,,,your worth more than a horse aren't you? I have had some of my biggest gains from taking a super high quality vitamin. Give your body what it needs and it will grow. Dont get me wrong, protein is great too. But you body needs more to function at a higher level. I take a 100% plant based liquid multi-vitamin multi-mineral supplement. Its not cheap at about 80 bucks a month. But i have never seen such quick recovery times. I cant believe the results!!! It makes all those n02 pills look really bad. well thats just my two cent and years of experience.
i make $500 a day sitting on my ass

Can be caused by excessive acidity in the stomach as well. Drink fresh lime juice - no sugar (it's acid) sorry - ten minutes before you down the stuff - works wonders.

It's the minerals not the brand, that's according to my gastroenterologist. Take with food.

Your bottle probably, most likely says take with meal.....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
