Exclamation Labor & Delivery paging Dr. Pain....Paging Dr. Pain....

Um....I went to GNC and they no longer are *allowed* to carry the blue cohosh, but had the black cohosh. Is there any difference...could I still try this? Also, they didnt have it available in tincter, but only tea and pills. I figure I will start off with the tea. I'm doing this to help RELIEVE my false labor pains, of course

The guy working the store showed me the book, and it looks like it does the same thing except it does have a caution/warning for pregnant ladies NOT to take it....YET at the same time, it tells of how it relieves false labor and helps induce labor....and not to be taken in 1st and 2nd trimester. I just wondered if you knew the difference in the two. I'm taking it this one must just be a bit weaker?

Arn't you glad you told me about this stuff?

You look beautiful and "beaming" in that picture!

SG, try to discuss this with a Mid-Wife or a Nurse Practitioner at your OB-GYN, W8 till Monday!

Yes, it can induce labor..the Black works like the Blue....REALLY REALLY know what you want and are doing before taking this! I was just giving you some FYI!

    Good Luck!

Damn, I should have taken July 3rd!

Thank you very much! And my beamers wernt even on *high*! This information is much appreciated as always Doc....and I believe what I am going to do ...is just have it on hand here, in case I approach 38 weeks and my OB doesnt hold to his word on induction. I trust he will tho....I don't think he wants a southern preggie bell~ ripping into him! I AM, however, going to get some evening Primrose oil today and start taking that each evening to see if it will help ~soften me up~ :o
