Some suggestions please

I really need some help *Oh that left me open for some comments* But really this is an awesome site with ALOT of awesome people dedicated to fitness and I know if anyone can help its you guys. My cousin and myself are training partners, we work out pretty heavy following the Arnold routine from his book, we are of two different body types..I am an easy gainer and he is a hard gainer. But my cousin wont eat, I have tried and tried to explain to him why he has to EAT!!!! he wont he still skips meals and when he does eat he wont eat much...OH it pisses me off...and he wonders why he can not work out as hard as I can. All he talks about is how he has love handles and he needs to get ride of them.. I have tried to explain to him that there is no such thing as spot reduction. What can I do to help his diet. I know he can not follow mine, because we are different body types. Anyone else have this problem with there partners.

Dont tap until it snaps..!!!

Nothing! You can't make another person want to do something. My suggestion is to leave him alone...you'll only drive yourself nuts trying to get him to follow a diet that he has no intention of following anyway. I've been through this w/ many people. Focus on yourself, eat well, train hard and maybe he'll see a connection between your dedication and your physique and want to finally do something about his own.

Don’t take it too hard. Before you can help him he need to make up his mind how much he wants this. If he not following your directions he probably don’t give a shiat about this and all he can do is complain about his fat ass. You just keep working hard and don’t let this get to you, hopefully your partner will change his moods.

Good advice you've already gotten! Maybe you can point him to some places (here, for example) that have some info that really drives home the link between proper nutrition and muscle growth and fat loss. Eat poorly and you won't build muscle, and fat loss will be all that much harder!

But he does need to figure it out on his own. I understand what he's thinking because I too am always tempted to eat less to get rid of more fat, but my workouts suck. Maybe suggest to him that he try it your way for, say, a week, to see if he notices a difference in his strength and energy? Maybe that'll help convince him....

The part that concerns me is this "Arnold routine" you're following!

Can you post it?
