Question Weight Loss/ Maintenance Guidelines

I am trying to find out a couple of things that are probably on this site, or linked here already.

1) How does one determine their basal metabolic rate of calories burned?

2) What are the guidelines for caloric intake by bodyweight for an adult male looking to maintain a current weight? Assume no cutting or bulking plans.

Thanks
