Cheap Protein
Iv been buyin the cheap stuff for awhile now, use Protein Essential/Revolution. It doesnt mix well when i use it with cold water or milk, only room temperature which seems weird. Anyone have a suggestion of college student priced protein that will actually mix with cold milk. Or suggestions to make it mix better i use a magic bullet?

Do you have a shaker? I seem to get pretty good results buy shaking, but I'm sure a magic bullet will work better. I like the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. I can usually find it between $30 - $40 for the 5lb container and it mixes pretty well and tastes great. I just bought the Vitamin Shoppe Body-Tech Whey-Tech Pro 24 because it was a little cheaper than the Optimum Nutrition. It's decent, but not as good as the ON. I'll probably just spend the extra $5 for the ON next time.

if you get a gold card at GNC (for $15) you get discounts on everything in the store for the first week of the month.
last week i got 6lb of Chocolate Caramel Whey protein. 23g of protein per scoop for $37. not to bad of deal.

Just get some canned tuna. Canned tuna is cheap, rich in omega 3, and doesn't need to be cooked. Also its way better to eat real food than liquid cals.

Careful: Canned Tuna on a frequent basis can lead to mercury contamination.
