regarding the "guide to cutting..." diet critique ect..

ive been eating ok and training good for a year and i have already lost 20 pounds. ive kind of bottomed out and been the same wieght for the last couple months so ive been reading the mountain of information in the stickies.

based on my calculations and wieght and height of 160lbs 5'11 and a relativly low body fat(10-15%). I am just trying to get a little more cut and i dont really care about losing a little muscle mass.

1600 calories per day based on BMR of 10x160

protein/carbs/fat
40/40/20 PCF ration(would you tweek this?)
640 cals/640 cals/320 cals
-----160g of protien/26 grams a meal
160g of carbs/26 g a meal
35g fat/6 meals is 5.8 grams a meal (seem a little low?)

thanks in advance!

Generally you're doing OK but you don't mention any essential fatty acids such as omega 3? You need such good fats to trigger your body into burning fat, whilst if your fat intake is too low you get the opposite, with your body clinging onto fat reserves.

If you're not doing any form of cycling give it a try, for example for 3 days reduce your carbs and increase your fat then return to normal, see what happens. Drink plenty of water if doing that.

Are you doing any form of cardio? Weights? What do you mean by "training"?

Just ramping up your cardio may be all you need.

Just had a quick question for you man, I understand the idea that your trying to get cut, I just wonder why not try and add lean mass inorder to reach your goals? At 5'11 and 160 I would say, look to adding more lean mass and watch the bf go down? Just my thoughts, our diets are similar, in the breakdown, I'm at 1950 kcal with a 195/195 split.

I would think time for a clean bulking phase.. 160@5'11 is not very much.

But good work on getting the bf down dude!
