Hey everyone. I am currently 16 years old. about 6'4" tall, and weigh almost 270. I really want to get rid of some fat and gain a lot of muscle. anyone have any good ways to go about doing this? I obviously have a very low budget as far as protein, and all that stuff goes. so if you could just give me some tips and stuff that would be great. Thanks!
we're in the same boat. i'd like to get leaner while gaining muscle. and unfortunately being able to do that is a myth. if you want to put on more muscle you need to be eating more calories than your body needs everyday. this is called 'bulking'. this means you'll inevitably gain some fat. now HOW MUCH fat you gain all depends on your diet. eat clean to minimize fat gains. once you gain enough weight (muscle), you start eating fewer calories than your body needs everyday (cutting).

protein. yes, eating lots of protein is expensive.
whey protein, is cheap if you buy it online. eggs are also pretty cheap.
