Homemade Bars
Hello,
I have gone through several posts and found that most of the recipes call for some kind of flavored whey protein. I am looking for some good recipes that use only natural flavor. I buy mine in bulk from a natural food store that doesn't have any additives. Please check out link for the kind that I use as it is very good to make smoothies without the high costs and added ingredients. BulkFoods.com Whey Protein Powder Online 1 ounce (28.35 grams) of whey protein (80%) contains 22.68 grams protein per ounce. 1 ounce (28.35 grams) of whey protein (90%) contains 25.51 grams protein per ounce Tks Dave |

Assuming you aren't spamming. Just add your own flavour afterwords.
Like Cocoa or or whatever flavour you are looking for. |

No not spamming....I am looking for a good ingredients (all natural....no added sugar) that can incorporate some extra nutrients maybe flax seed oil or any kind of antioxidant/fruit based bar. Along with maybe a good tasting bar with natural cocoa.
I have been searching the threads but haven't found ones using plain flavour protein without sugar added (I will consider using splenda or another sweetner, but prefer not) that I could try. Would like it low in carbs, only natural from ingredients/fruit or fiber. Can be high in fat thats ok. AND would like at least 20 grams of protein per bar but would prefer a lot more. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT I am also a novice cook so please cooking time how to mix etc. I know I am asking for a lot but if I can get 1 or even 2 would make me very happy, along with a little richer since I don't have to pay for the REALLY expensive ones that fit this criteria. TKS to anyone reading |

You could try these.
http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/he...otein-bar.html (Homemade Protein Bar) Just substitute your protein powder. You could use honey as a sweetener. |
