Looking for tips

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
Hey all I've been searching around for a while and the people here seem pretty well informed.

I'm 16 years old and I weigh about 198 pounds, I'm definately bigger for my age and size than I would like to be, I'm 5'11 and I play football as a lineman for my highschool.

I'm basically looking for a nutritional plan and weight/cardio workout to lose quite a bit of weight, and gain tone and muscle. My target is around 160 pounds when it's all said and done.

If it's an extreme life changing style it's something I can deal with, I don't mind radical change.

I don't exactly eat healthy or nutritional, I eat 3 meals a day, but often times I skip out on breakfast.

So I'm here just for an all out plan, I have a couple more years in high school left, by graduation I'd really like to be a different person.

Thanks all, Jake.

Hi Jake, welcome to the forums.

First thing you need to do is get your diet in check. Try and stay away as much as possible from fast foods.
To loose weight, you need to eat under your calorie maintenance level.
Here is a calculator to give you your approx daily maintenance level..

Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric Needs

Decrease your calories around 500 from maintenance level.

Have a basic gym routine for example
Mon: Chest/tris
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday Shoulders/Traps
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Back/Bis

You could aslo do a bit of light cardio before you workout ie 15 mins.
Make sure you take enough protein everyday, lean beef, chicken, tuna, fish, etc.
