you can't lose weight on only 1200 caloreis nor can you gain weight on that low of a caloric intake...why do you eat so little ?
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

You haven't mentioned any breakfast. You've got to slam down a quality breakfast. Even if you hate to eat breakfast (like many of us do), you must knock down those early morning calories.

You can do this Pood. If you find it hard to eat consistent meals, find ways to stay regular. Change your mindset and make eating a priority. Make it happen by eating something healthy everytime you have the chance. Prepare your lunch and take it with you if you must.

    Eat, lift, rest, grow.

    Wow.

First of all, I doubt that taco bell and a pizza added up to 1200.

Secondly, if indeed that's all you're eating, you're definitely not going to gain on 1200 kcals, nor will you lose...it's not enough calories either way. I wouldn't call yourself a hardgainer until your got your diet in order! At 18 years old you need to be eating healthy consistent meals every day! Don't be skipping breakfast, don't be binging on junk food!

You certainly don't need to be losing weight. You need to hit the gym and lift some weights, eat regularly (6 meals a day, every 3 hrs), and a lot....and when I say a lot I mean healthy...not taco bell.

Please check the best nutritional thread sticky at the top of the nutrition forum, there's a lot of key information for you there.

well, here's what i ate yesterday

    breakfast: cheerios + 2%milk

lunch: Healthy Choice Thai Chicken Bowl

mid afternoon snack:scoop of 100% whey protein
dinner: Taco Bell 7-layer, and a omlet with crap load of meatballs

i forgot to add i nthe omley, but that would bring me up to maybe 1500 or 1600 calories, i think

and ive been lifting for a year, but havent the last month, but will maybe, today.

Okay...if you want to gain muscle, you need to go to the gym! You also need to eat...a lot Cheerios and milk isn't that good of a breakfast. A much better choice would be eggs & oats. You need protein, slowburning carbs and healthy fats!

lunch: Healthy Choice Thai Chicken Bowl

A healthier choice would homemade...brown rice w/ chicken and maybe some nuts or a tbsp of peanut butter

mid afternoon snack:scoop of 100% whey protein

You need to add something to that shake otherwise your protein will be used for energy, not what you want. Add a tbsp of flax seed oil, some nuts or peanut butter, or 3-4 tbsp of cream. No veggies in your diet huh?...You should add some veggies throughout the day. This meal could have an apple, peach, or some berries too!

Well, the omelete is good, lol, the meat balls would be okay is extra lean meat was used.

    Netirition.com - flax seed oil

    Omega Nutrition

However, you should be able to find flax seed oil at a local market or nutrition centre....it will be refrigerated. It comes in capsules and oil...the oil is much cheaper.

I find that I eat better on work days than one week days because of the set schedule.

Like everyone else said no way you're gonna grow on 1200 cals a day....and crappy cals at that.
