BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com one of my favorite drinks during the summertime is icewater with a a key lime. last summer i'd have at least 2 key limes a day.
not as bad as two cokes a day... would 2 key limes a day be a bad habit to have? |

I think limes aside from being pretty sugary are good for you on the energy and antioxidant side of things. Lemme go dig up some macros.

At answers.com I found limes (probably regular persian limes however) at 30 kcals. It's got 3g of fiber so the 11g of carbs gets knocked down to 32 kcals and I'm sure the acid content takes care of a couple. 29mg of Vitamin C isn't really much, but it's better than nothing.
I'm sure it's more for me though because when I throw limes in the blender I just slice the green off the outside and leave most all of the white flesh on them which has the higher concentration of Vitamin C. Anyone have a fit day account want to look up key limes? They're much smaller and more acidic than persian limes. |
