W8lifter, thanx for your help, im 15, i run about 3 miles a day, i work out for about an hour 3-4 times a week, and i dont have a meal plan yet. i only eat things that arent bad for me. i dont eat ice cream, cookies, chips, or any other snack foods. i would like to have a specific meal plan though. I have been looking around almost anywhere i can to find for something good for me but i dont really have a good example for my age group to base it on. i have a training schedule that i have worked out that is fine for me, so all i need is a meal plan. also, many of my friends take pills, powders, drinks, etc. (all legal stuff) and have good things to say about some of them, but i just want some professional advice on them b4 i do anything. i was wondering if they help at all and which ones work. im not looking for an easy way out w/ that stuff, i just need something that could assist a little.
    thanx for your help!!!

Sounds like you're on the right track except for your diet! And seriously, W8 would be the one to help you on that!! (Damn, wish I was 15 again! Awwhhh!!! Memories!)

You might want to look into some Plyometrics. I played junior hockey when I was younger, and the two biggest things that helped me were plyometrics, and a good power skating instructor. You have to develope explosive speed, and be strong on your skates. oh and get a weighted puck (or screw two pucks together) and practice your shot at night. (make sure you put some boards up in front of the garage though, my dad didn't take to kindly to the hole in the garage door)

You eat, therefore you have a meal plan...I want to know what you're currently eating. "not eating cookies and junk" isn't much help. If we're to help you develop a new meal plan, we need to know what you're currently eating. If you can list, in detail w/ serving sizes, etc, what you eat for meal 1, meal 2, etc. we can get started

What "pills, powders & drinks" are your friends suggesting you take? What are they taking?
