I just happened to run across this...
When Seafood is Fishy - Yahoo! Health

Always seems to be a topic of interest.

I believe more information is available on Mercola's website.

I stopped reading Dr. Pain's Mercola links years ago, after i read his recommendation for not using toothpaste because of the flouride or something.

Mercola has a bit of a 'quacky tree hugger' reputation on the internet.

Is this the same Dr. Pain who used to frequent this forum years ago?

Yes.

And I miss him so.

Regarding Mercola and others like him.....you have to filter the information. Use the logical stuff and overlook the excentricities.

Yep. I actually met DP on ABCBB and then he got into some altercation there and left. Then i followed him here. He used to always post the newsletter and i would read it religiously cause DP was so full of knowledge. After becoming more educated (formally and self) i began questioning a lot of Dr. M's theories and finally gave up on his stuff. Later i would run across this opinion of him at various forums all over the net.

DP actually left this forum, started his own and was hacked by someone then finally shut down. I wonder where he is now a days?
