    breaking your diet

I'm just curious to how often people allow themselves to break their diet. I usually break mine every sunday with some pancakes, cookies, pie, or whatever I want. Within reason of course. That little break helps me keep on it through the week.

Ditto, once a week sounds good, within reason.

I have one bad meal Friday night and Saturday and a couple of beers. My bad meal might be something like pizza.

Usuely once A week I will have about a cup of sugar free fat free frozen yougurt. Which has the same nutritional value as milk. Maybe a few slices of fat free cheese or a diet soda once a week.

I normally take weekends off because it is difficult being social and sticking to your diet routine, plus most family dinners happen on Sunday night. This means, of course that everything happens in moderation. Gone are the days of the Double Big Mac Combo with Supersized fries (2,000 calories and 100 grams of fat...yikes!). But I don't feel bad about having sauce on my Sub on the weekends, or eating a couple of slices of homemade pie (i think that just turned pornal without meaning to).
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

I usally eat bad 2 meals a week. That is most of the time when I am with my buddies and we get pizza or wings. Lately when I am hungry I eat something bad without realizing it Like I wanted to get a piece of bread then instead I ate a donut and when I was done. I was like what the hell did I just do.

Dont say that. It takes time to change. Write a diet out but allow yourself the freedom to snack every once in a while. Don't try to do to much to fast, if you can't cut all bad food out now, don't. Even cutting out some will help.

Ummm. I'm bad. Decided to cheat on the 4th of July and enjoy myself, and since then been kind of on a non stop cheat.

    1) I love rice, and dishes with it (ESP Cajun dishes.)

    2) I love pasta (ESP Italian dishes)

    3) Beer. I love it, but don't drink it that often. Have had a few in the last two weeks though.

I don't really mind eating well, but.....damn am I blowing it.

Coming from a bicyclist background, and eating carbs like they were going out of style, it's hard to break old habits.

When I do cheat it usually make it something fattening vs. something sugarary. Like the double quarter pounder w/ cheese that I got from McDonald's yesterday!

I might cheat every 10 days or so.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

    hmmmmm... good question.
I usually pig out on clean foods during the week
then I will pig out on a combination of clean and not so
    clean foods on the weekends.
Basically, I'm always piggin out and stuffing my face
    with ridiculuous amounts of food
