I just started to use oatmeal as part of my diet.
The natural one is so hard for me to digest even if I use some cinnamon. I can tolerate the flavoured oatmeals! IS it bad to eat flavoured oatmeal as the natural one make me to gag? Any suggestions? |

I eat the flavored and add some regular to it, cals are a bit higher but a lot easier to stomic.

I tried that once but found it really bad. Good mix for protein though if you can take it. ------------------ Just another day in the gutter |

Why don't you flavour the natural oats yourself.
Add a packet of sweetner, maybe cinnamon & apples, banana, or my fav....1 tbsp. natty peanut butter. Quote:

Make oatmeal into a pancake...12 egg whites,1cup oatmeal,a few packets of nutrasweet, some cinammon....put in a blender to mix thoroughly.Pour mixture in a non-stick pan sprayed with PAM on med-high heat. The size of the pan will of course dictate the size of each pancake.
This will yield a tasty carb/protein/lowfat meal.Get some Atkins no calorie maple syrup to make it even more tasty with no added carbs or cals. I eat this every morning...yummy! ------------------ symmetry over size |
