No appetite post workout- any suggestions?

Hi guys and gals. Here's my problem- I don't feel like eating any carbs post workout. I'll happily eat meat and healthy fats(Peanut butter/nuts). I do drink my protein shake and fasting digesting carbs immediately post workout, but I slack on the slow digesting carbs I'm supposed to take 1 hour later. I've tried different foods and recipies, but nothing seems to help. It will be 2-3 hours before I feel like eating brown rice/Oats/Yams/Brown bread. Should I buy a premixed powder or something? Any suggestions?

I've gone from an extremely low carb diet(<100 gm/day) to about 1 Gm carb/lb body weight over the last 2 weeks or so. I currently weigh 170 Lbs and am 5'11". My weight was 168 2 weeks back. I weighed 193 lbs 3 1/2 months back.

I do take 800 mg of caffeine(400 in the Am and 400 pre-workout) and 2 gm(1gm in AM and 1 gm pre-workout) of Green tea extract everyday. This could possibly be making things worse.

Any suggestions are welcome. Please help....

    cut the caffeine

Seems to me that youre gonna have to back down on the caffeine and try and get your energy from another source. Caffeine is a big time appetite suppressant so thats probably the majority of your problem. I know you want to tear the house down in the gym, but it's doing you no good if you can't feed the machine after you bust it in the gym!

agreed the caffeine will kill your appetite. You should be fine after that.

Thanks for the input. I'll cut the caffeine dose in half and see if there is any difference. You reckon the green tea is OK?
