A Tanita scale is pretty accurate, they are the best ones on the market.
Best way is to have it measured by a professional(obviously)...generally Tanita scales and even calipers are inaccurate anywhere from 3-5% either way. What they will give you is a current benchmark that you can work on improving. Any local gym will probably do that for you for a small fee.
If you really have to know exactly, contact your local college or university who may have access to a hydrostatic weighing tank (or know who does). It is expensive, but the most accurate method currently (besides DXA, but that hasn't been fully validated yet).
