A quality multivitamin is a good thing.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry about the fish oil right now. Just add a portion of fish (salmon, tuna, whatever) to your current diet. Right now, as you were advised in your other thread by some very knowledgeable people, concentrate on eating a healthy diet. There is no sense in getting too involved with all of this other stuff at your age. Eat healthy foods, exercise, and, if you are really interested in weight training, educate yourself first. Study up on proper form, correct range of motion, stretching, the millions of variations of different exercises, and the reasoning behind each.....arm yourself intellectually while you are young, take your time, and dive into all of the supplimental stuff later......you have plenty of time to get big, bud. |

There are no vitamins that help you build muscle directly (semantics). Proper vitiman/mineral replacement will help your body function as efficient as possible and in turn helping your metabolic processes promote muscle growth if you train to do so.

Vitamins are not directly related to muscle growth at all except that severe deficiencies can cause problems with neuromuscular function, energy, coordination etc.
Taking vitamins will not improve muscle growth unless you are deficient. I recommend eating a nutrient dense diet rich in fruits and vegetables and taking a moderate dose multivitamin. |
