Opinions requested re:Caloric intake

I am going to start trimming up. I have a game plan but would like to hear some suggestions. The object is to lose about 10 Lbs of fat (or 4%). I weigh 250 and recently tested 11% BF. I am taking in +/- 250 grams of protein/day. I lift heavy 4 times/week and will be doing aerobic work 3 X week. I want to maintain the strength I have! How many calories should I consume a day?

How many are you taking in now?

Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

That's kinda the problem. I make sure I get the protein throughout the day and I take in another +/-200 cal in Creatine supp. I would guess about 1500 in carbs during the week and about 2500-3000 on Sat.-Sun. Weekends are a bitch!

If you want to shed axe the creatine transport and start your cals right where they are. Add 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times per week. Once you stall out in losing weight, axe 500 cals off your diet. You may even be able to cut the cardio in half to only 2 times per week. I would not see you needing to do more if all you want to drop is 10 lbs.

Man on a mission!
