Weird weight gains/losses?

I've always monitored my weight by weighing myself at the same time each morning. I was progressively gaining about a pound or so each week, but about 4 weeks ago i stopped gaining. I figured this was because my schedule had changed and i was eating less often. So i started eating more often again. The weird thing was, i started losing weight. I went from 172 back down to 170 steadily for about a week. Then this morning i get on the scale after consistently being 170 for about a week and i weigh 173. I did absolutely nothing different except eating peanuts instead of raisins in my mid day meal. Is it water retention or fat or what?

Weight always has the potential to fluctuate between at least 5 pounds while weightlfiting. For me, at least.

Maybe your body flushed it self. Like I don't change my diet and I have to pee more one day compared to the next I my fastest weight loss was 7.5 pounds in two hours it was a really weird bet that I couldn't lose 5 pounds in 2 hours. So i popped a bunch of laxatives and wore a sweatshirt.I sweated and pooped my way to fifty dollars (What can I say me and my friends have no lives)
