    Macronutrients v. Calories

    Just for clarification:

    Calorie balance will determine gaining/losing weight and macronutrients will affect body composition and overall training performance?

    Basically.

    Also, macros will affect appetite, and can affect metabolism to a small degree (in the case of TEF for example).
