    post low intensity cardio meal!

hey, i was wandering what my post workout meal should be after low intensity cardio. I'm doin this on my off days to burn a little fat. I was thinkin about 30g dextrose plus my daily 5g creatine. on workout days my post workout meal is 75g dextrose 45g protein and 5g creatine.
    cheers ac

    Lose the dextrose.
the whole point to cardio is to burn fat.
The most fat burning occurs in the time period after doing cardio, not during cardio.
The insulin spike is definitely killing the fat burning process.
Stick with protein and fat after cardio.
I drink a whey shake with flax after cardio.
    or
a huge omlette wit mostly egg whites with a couple of yolks.

I have also had the best results when I wait to eat at least half an hour after cardio.

Ditto to what chesty said....any insulin spike is going to halt fat-burning.....a protein/fat meal will ensure continued fat-burning.
