I bought some Round Boneless Steaks a week ago. I threw it in the freezer as soon as I got home. Couple days later, I brought it out of the freezer (frozen solid) and laid it on the counter to thaw so I could cook it later. Well, I fucking forgot about it and found it 12 hours later (give or take). It didnt look or smell bad so I refroze it. Good or bad idea, I dont know.
Tonight I cooked it. Still, no foul smell. At least, not an obvious stench. No obvious color change either. However, I might have eaten bad meat, so what can happen?
I know what you mean but it just looks funny to read that, spoken so matter of factly. "ahhhh, no big deal, you just might get some food poisoning...ya know..."

ya know, I didn't even realize it until you guys mentioned it, I guess I did just kinda deadpan that one.
I guess I've become desensitized to food poisoning over the years or something... after you've had it three or four times it no longer seems like such a big deal.
