    chicken 101

Hey, I got a question, well no so much a question than a comment I wanted to make so you guys can try it.....I'm a simple food guy, meaning i can eat the same old thing at the same old time every day which I do and It wokred out great so far...I am trying to switch it out tho and replace subs with chicken and rice..Problem is (and your probably as well) I hate chicken breast...So, since I hate chcien breast...I thought I could buy a shit load of the leanes fresh chicken breast and have them ground up ( my family owns a meat shop and I have ground up all kinds of shit before).....You guys can probably ask your butcher nicely....Would there be any problem with that.....

I also wantd to premake me a whole weeks worth of food since I wokr a lot and keep it in the fridge then microvave it...Anyone know exactly how long I can keep it in the fridge and not get sick?

With cooked chicken, I generally eat within three days. However, I'm not sure if ground chicken would last as long as a full breast, as I generally won't keep around cooked ground beef more than a day or two.

I've read 5 to 7 max for cooked. 5 max for uncooked. I usually don't mess with stuff after 7 days.... But my fridge top in the back puts frost on stuff so I feel more comfortable. I keep it cool. However, peanut butter cups keep indefinitely!

i like to try and cook 1-2 times a week. so i frequently eat beef and chicken that i cooked 6-8 days earlier. but i eat whole chicken breasts, and steak (sometimes ground beef)

I make ground chicken burgers all the time. I typically grind myself 2 breast and 2 thighs and add seasoning to taste. Heat up a pan to med/med high add some evoo and cook through.

Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. Just breast will work but tends to dry out quick.

Do not keep any ground meat products more than 2-3 days in the fridge. Whole breast will last another day or two.

lol......No, I haven't "eaten" those "shrooms" ever since I was 16 and for some reason started converging with a church becasue I thought that Jesus was inside (bad times)..........Well, I put a bunch of different veggies (steamed) along wiht brown rice and this planned out chicken that I had...Sound like it will be a good idea....About 500 Callories a meal two times a day, I have 3 liquid meals and 2 solid meals a day...It would wokr out great If I didn't cheat so god damn much!!
