    pepper??

Maybe a silly question but is it ok to put pepper on things? For example tonight I had a whole wheat wrap with baby spinach and 1 cup egg white. Is it fine to put pepper on them for a little more taste? I also had some asparaguses and put pepper on them as well. I personally avoid salt as much as possible because I do not want to retain too much water weight. I just have never heard anyone say anything positive or negative about pepper.

I believe ground pepper contains little to no sodium.
