Just curious if DP or anyone knows... I can always call them myself but it's long distance and I don't feel like talking to a sup salesman (I know, bitch, bitch bitch).
But... what is the nutritional mock up of a Beverly Int'l Ultra 40 Liver Tab? I know it's 2 grams of protein per tablet, but what about carbs and fat? I would assume just trace amounts of both (considering the ingredients), but then again you never know with sups.
So???
Thanks in advance, MB

It's an incredible product......in myself and others, and I can't explain the mechanisms, they seem to "harden" the physique rapidly! MB, the only drawback besides price, is that they contain about 1 mg of iron per tablet. At 2-6 per meal, plus a Multi (I had to switch to an iron-free vitamin)...that's a lot of iron for a man!
Also, quality wise, there is nothing close to Beverly's Ultra 40 on the market!

DP,
Agreed, great product and Bev always has good quality stuff.... but I take it by your response that the nutritional value of one tab is 8 calories, 2 grams protein, trace carbs and trace fat?
Not to be a worry-wort, I'm just curious. My next bulk (staying on the CKD style formula) will contain several of these per day and I just want to keep things in check carb-wise and calorie-wise. I currently take 2-4 per meal and they seem to help.
Exactly how much iron is too much for men? Does it depend on body weight/build? I take 3 Ultra 40's with each meal and my diet consists an average amount of red meat/beef.Originally posted by Dr. Pain

As for the Ultra 40s, just like the Bev Intl protein powders, they are great.

It varies.......see hemochromatosis, only some men have this...the RDA is 18 mgs, I believe!
Excess Iron accumulates in the organs and the blood.

If the RDA is 18mg...1mg per Ultra40 tab, I'm at 18mg with just the Ultra 40s. Sounds like I should cut back on the Ultra40s when I'm having steaks. Also, I should get a "No Iron" multi-vitamin...Nature's Plus "Source of Life" w/o Iron.....does that sound right??

Yep....
That's the vitamin I use too!
