i believe i have found the best cottage cheese the world has known.

trader joes vermont style cottage cheese. not the fat free one although that is ok. the curds are so small that it almost has the consistancy of a cream cheese. ive tried every major market brand and this owns them.
on that note what are your prefered Cottage chs meal combos? sometimes i have some peanuts for the fat and wait a few minutes and eat a couple servings for a meal. so quick and convient. will the carbs make a huge dent? it would be combined 4 grams sugars/carbs for the nuts and and 8 grams for the CC for a whole 12 grams carbs(9 grams sugars)

i usually only do this type of meal 1 or 2 times a day max but i would eat it more if i wasnt a bit worried about the sugars.

also on a somewhat related note. go to your mexican grocery store and find CHIPOTLE SALSA. its the best. basically no calories or carbs. its like healthy crack. hit it.

I'll look for it. But please don't keep talking like carbs are an enemy. We have enough of that going on. Dent? Depends on your total macs and your goals.

I have been wanting to add cottage cheese to my diet but am unsure of what to mix in with it. Anyone have any good suggestions on what to add that's not too difficult? I thought pineapple would be good but I can't see buying and cutting one up for this.

there's little cans of already cut up pineapple, fruit ect. that u can get, the kind that goes in kids lunch boxes. i always mix mine with low-sugar strawberry or apricot fruit preserves, found next to the jelly in the store

Hell yeah, I'll have to check this stuff out. It's the consistency that I can't stand with CC.

    Its sooo yummy!
I usually have some before I go to bed. I read somewhere that this bodybuilder chick had it in her off-season diet and that its like a slow-burning protein.
I had some for breakfast this morning + its an easy snack!
