Earlier this year I suffered a fractured humerus which has pretty much fully healed. I was taking supplemental calcium from the time I got surgery onward to assist with any repair. Does anyone think there is still some value to taking additional calcium to keeping bones strong or just eliminate it from now on? I know you can get too much of different minerals and I do get some in my multi too. Thanks for any thoughts.
Opinions will vary but a well balanced diet and your multi-vit/mineral should be fine, assuming you are relatively young and healthy of course.
