    Eating Around School (help)

So I have been on a bulking diet for a while, but with high school on monday i'm worried about my food intake. heres the dilemma...

    6:30-wake up
    *breakfast*

8:30-9:40-Class 1(only on tues, and thurs)
*snack* (this will only be possible on mon-wed-fri)

    9:50-11:15- Class 2

11:30-1:00 (i have 3rd block off so it is a longer lunch)
    *Lunch*

    1:35-3:00- Class 4
PE and my last class of the day

    SCHOOL ENDS

    3:00-5:00
    Play rehearsals (don't ask)

    6:30
    Workout

So as you can see, between 1:35 and 5:00, I can't eat anything. Unless maybe I went to my car immeditely after school, but I would have to eat fast.

After rehearsals I would only have about an hour to eat before my workout, that leaves little time for digestion.

Anyone have any advice on this problem? It would be much appreciated.

Pack a dry shake in a cup - make sure there's some dextrose in it. Something like musclemilk could work here. Add water, shake it up and chug between PE and rehearsal.

Knock back another one with a bagel or a lowfat sandwich right after rehearsal and you'll be fine to train.
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

    that sounds great! thanks!

so you think a bagel will be enough for my pre workout "meal"?

i would also drink a whey protein shake 30 mins before and i will be starting super pump that day also.

    thanks for the advice!

    Bagel and a shake, yes.

Have another shake and bagel or some other starch right after, then a good solid meal when you get home.

    What's super pump?

Superpump250 is an NO drink from Gaspari. I take it 30 minutes prior to working out on an empty stomach.

    "What's the play?"

The play is called Rehearsal for Murder. It is the stage adaption of the 1982 made for tv movie. It's actually really cool and I play Jeff Goldblum's character!

I would send you a link, but since I don't have atleast five posts it won't let me. You can find it on wikipedia though.

Not sure why that would be embarrassing.

I was never the "drama" or "theater" type, but mainly because I was too nervous and shy as a youngster.

    Sounds cool.

Another Pre-WO meal that I used to do in college is take 1 cup lowfat yogurt, 2 scoops chocolate whey, and some oats. Mix it all together. Consume.

Is delicious though it does need to be refriged. I would just ask the staff if you can use their fridge - they're usually pretty cool about it if you explain to them what you're doing and why.

    thanks sox!

well, it's not that I am embarassed about it, it's just that i asked a similar question like this on bodybuilding.com and some people harassed me about. I figured I would just say it like that and hopefully people would not tease me.

Also, that sounds like a pretty good pre-workout snack. thanks for the tip!
