Hi everyone.
I have read in the past that microwaving your food can cause the protein and other nutrients to break down and become less bioavailable. Is there any truth to this? If I'm in a hurry and would just like to throw some eggs in the microwave would this diminish it's properties? Thanks. |

IF you live off microwaved food then yeah I can see that it would do some harm long term. Most of these studies are shit. They probably fed rats off nothing but say microwaved popcorn for 3 months and docoumented that they got cancer and or died.

I'm no expert but I dont think microwaving breaks down protein...maybe Im wrong but It doesn't make sense to me....
