Too late to bulk ?? need opinions **PICS INSIDE**

    Hey Guys

Im trying to gear up for the summer/beach but I am wondering if its too late to bulk up. I got about 4 months now until Jun when I want to be cut/ripped do you think its enough time if I do everything correctly?

Also I am attaching a picture......The thing is I do not want to cut and then look like a skinny bitch. I didn't bulk at all I am/was just really out of shape so I am hoping when I cut/slim down here I do not loose too much of my muscle?

I have read everything on diet and working out so I do not loose too much muscle but from the pictures do you think there is any muscle underneath the high BF% there without me looking like one of those skinny ripped guys at the beachh?? any opinions please

NO way youre gonna bulk then cut in 4 months. Start cutting. Youre gonna get smaller but oh well, you missed the bulk boat about six months ago. A slow cut is the way to keep as much muscle as possible.

Is that the BB storm? thats what I got...haha

judging by the pics I've got less body fat than you and even I cut my bulk early to give myself plenty of time to cut and look lean for around that same time period (june)

I'd trade a longer bulk period for a longer summer anytime... where in ontario are you? i know my location says london (my home town) but i've actually been living in windsor for a couple years now... pretty much as southern canada as you can get and winter still sucks...

    Cut.

Even if it was wintertime, if you were to bulk now you wouldn't partition well.

i think that the quote was in sarcasm

almost like "who cares when you bulk or cut"

i feel it is pretty important to keep my bodyfat% relatively low year round

today was 60 degrees and people where saying it was "cold"

    week ago we hit 80

around here the adonis complex is ever present
any time of year it is liable to be beach weather
and it seems that the pressure never lets up to be sub 10%

makes bulking tough, for me anyhow

    it kinda sucks

all i have is a pullover hoodie

just put a photo in my album of myself "pre cut"

    ----------------------------------------
    back on topic

my opinion might be a little skewed
but i would not consider a bulk if i was already above 12 or 13% bf

considering i try to maint 10 or 11% all winter and try to cut down to sub 8% for summer

LOL what is there to cut? seriously, you should keep bulking man... judging by your posts you seem a little too concerned with body fat % numbers... 8% 10-11% 12-13% who cares? even if you're 13% in that pic you look lean as hell... if i had your body i'd definitely be trying to put more meat on... if you try to get down to 8% i think you'll just end up looking too skinny... but that's just my opinion... please don't take offense or anything cause whatever body fat % you're at in that pic is pretty much my goal for the end of the cut i just started :P you're already looking pretty ripped to me man...

well for me a bulk or a cut doesnt really make a significant change in my bodyfat

i think that is my mental illness
    i was a chubby kid
(judging by my pics youd never guess)
during high school i gained alot of height and lost quite a bit of fat
when igraduated i was around 150lbs
    now im around 180

    its been around 2.5 years
i think that 30 lbs of weight and still maintaning a lean figure is a pretty respectable accomplishment

living so close to the florida beaches it is important for ME to stay lean

a significant cut will probably be 5 lbs for me

men have this thing in there head that everything has to be extreme
"eat your ass off if you wanna gain weight" is the mentallity of most bodybuilders i hear
and a "cut" includes winstrol and ephedrine/caffeine/asprine
everyone wants to loose weight as fast as they can for summer
and bulk as heavy as they can all winter

for me these ideals do not work well

i like to maint, low bodyfat
    bulk slowely
    and cut very gradually

at my leanest weight i will be putting out numbers verrrryyy close to what im doing now
and at my VERY heaviest i will not be but a few % higher than i am now

    moderation is my goal
and 25lbs+ of lean body mass in under 3 years is nothing to sneeze at

    id gladly take my
    healthy joints
    110/60 BP
    48BPM resting heart rate
    and 12% max bodyfat

over the 30lbs "bulks" that reak havoc on your body, that most meat heads are convinced are required to gain muscle

    seems like a rant

let me state that i am in no way offended
im just trying to explane myself

the opinions of people on this board are very influencial to me
and your input is certainly noted
