Assuming you get in enough protein a day, what is a good all around healthy diet split?
Should you get more fats in than carbs, or more carbs than fat? Which would be optimal...(We are also assuming healthy fats and carbs)
How should the split look? 30/40/30 Fat/carbs/protein?

How we can maintain fat in our body
The 2 healthiest diets as far as long term health are the Mediterranean Diet and the Low Fat/Ornish Diet. Both can be supplemented with protein and whey protein to get your protein up.
The low carb diets have not held up that well in the studies so far: several studies have shown for example elevated inflammation levels.
If you exercise enough, you'd probably be okay as exercise lower inflammation and counteracts some of the negative effects.
