Some serious advice needed!

HI there

Ive just moved to the States from the UK and needing some serious kick to get me started again in the gym, my motivation should be loosing the weight i've gained and getting ripped before summer comes however since ive moved here I dont have any training buddies as there all back in the UK and as for getting hold of proper fat burners and other special supplements its near impossible.

Im currently at 97kg at 183cm and used to be 85kg ripped 2 years ago, i feel myself sliding further into gaining weight.

my cravings for fatty foods along with awful training sessions and no gym buddies is very hard to gain any ground in getting back to my goal.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks for reading

Welcome to the forum! Listen to Built first and foremost, she has helped me quite a bit.

Secondly, and I'm not flaming you by any means, but 'gym buddies' and 'fat burners' are a poor excuse for not meeting your goals. If you are really honest with yourself, you really don't need either.

When I started getting back into lifting and taking it very 'seriously' I had no one at the gym that I lifted with. I still don't have a so called gym buddy that I meet at any specific time to lift with. If you are respectful and serious at the gym, people will notice you and you will strike up a friendship with people at the gym that will encourage you and give you a spot when you need one.

Fat burners are not really necessary in my opinion. Make your diet and lifting routine your fat burner. Will power to limit your cravings for fatty foods will work wonders for you. Personally, I rarely eat fast food (Twice in the past 6 months). This forum can give you unlimited ideas for consumption.

If at 48 years old and 24% body fat (6 months ago), I can do it, anyone can do it!

Good luck and stay in touch. There is a multitude of help just waiting for you at this forum!
