CROSSFIT my new hobby plus new things in my life...
Whats up IM peeps...
A week or 2 ago I decided I wasnt going to compete anymore as a bodybuilder...I think 14 shows is enuff for now...Ill come back one day and will be training and prepping to be crowned Ms. Natural Olympia w/ the INBA.
I want to just be a FIT athlete who does different things... 1. Crossfit 2. Tri-fit obstacle course comp 3. blogging for a fitness e mag 4. working backstage at any natural drug free comp 5. hosting my OWN show in 2011 6. helping other reach their fitness goals... 7. starting my own business as a distributor for Visalus/Body By Vi products.

Friday-Monday I was in Orlando for Visalus/Body By Vi National convention.
I met some amazing ppl...
The Body By Vi 90 day fitness challenge finalist were annouced...
a male, couple and female were selected they won a cruise, make over and other prizes.
The BMW qualifiers were featured on stage...I hope to be there at the next event in Nov.
Monday I did a mini crossfit WOD in the hotel fitness center called "Helen" 3 rds of 400m (ran for 1:30 on the treadmill), 21 KB swings (used DBs) and 12 pullups. It took me 13:00. I was laughing to myself bc the ppl in the center were staring at me bc I was running around the fitness center...lol
Tuesday trained legs tonight w/ Tampa Pro 2nd place winner- Tina Chandler, who is now qualified for Ms. Olympia in Sept in Vegas...woohoo
I am so happy for her...our training grp is getting TEAM TINA shirts made...
TONIGHT went to crossfit:
Our strength training was back squats (reg squats) 3-3-3-1-1-1 I finished w/ 185 but felt the need to try 205 and crushed it...woohoo...I am getting my strength back.
Actually WOD was Met Con: 5 rds of 25 situps and 10 ring dips ( i used the red rubberband for assistance) took me 9 min and 55 secs. I thought this was going to be an easy workout but the my abs got sore on the 2nd round and I was getting tired on the dips. The gymnastic rings are kinda tuff. Try to keep from swinging is hard. but I got it done.

Thursday rested bc I was really sore from leg day on Tues w/ Tina and Wed @ crossfit.
Friday's WOD
3-3-3 (bodywt) 1-1-1 45lbs (20lb vest and 25 lbs plate) pull ups
then
50 wall ball squats w/ 3 burpees every min
finishing w/ 50 box w/ 3 burpees every min
=8:53
the burpees kicked my booty!!!
Saturday's WOD 830 (me up before 9 am is a miracle)
400m
21 push press/goblet squats (w/ 65/44lbs)
400m
15 push press/goblet squats
400m
9 push press/goblet squats
400m run
= 17:01
I didnt think I was going to finish this one...
