Question Mummy tummy and 45 next birthday.

Hi all Im new to this site but not new to working out I work out at home with dvds from Cathe Fredrich, I dont know if
    you've heard of her.
I've been working out for a number of years, I have four kids, I had to stop for a while after
complications with my last child and my health suffered as a result, my healthy eating is okay and I prefer weight
training to cardio even though I know both are important.
I have heavy periods which leave me drained Im 5 ft 2in and have a toned body but not as toned as I would like with a mummy tummy that really gets me down.
Im 45 yrs old next birthday I reaaly want to have a hard body once and for all, I would welcome any advice of what I can do to
    obtain my goals.

    Thanks.

You are going to have to go into detail on describing "my healthy eating is okay":
    Calories:
    Macro breakdown:

You mentioned a DVD but what kind of workout?
Describe your training routine in detail.

At 45 you shouldn't have a problem reaching your goal IF you fix your diet and train right.

I dont keep a food diary but its pretty much the same stuff porridge with a scoop of protein {natural whey} whole wheat toast cup of tea with two sugars and 2 biscuits {cookies to you} a banana, yogart strawberry.
tuna and avacado salad, protein shakes, water, rice chicken veg ect but at the weekend because of my family anthing goes [I know this is bad but I try to have very small portions] as for the workouts I alternate upper and lower body weight work, and do cardio in between and have rest days when energy levels are low. I suppose I need to be around like minded people to reach my goals I know the cookies are a no no. Thats why I joined this site. My husband being a coach potatoe does'nt help either.

    Welcome

Never too late to start after kids, life can get very complicated, I've always being very fit & after my last pregnancy 3 years ago it was harder for me to get back in shape, all it takes is taking that first step.

First thing u should do is know what your diet is like now, u can start logging everything u eat, a good site to do this is (Fitday.com)

Diet/Cardio/training is what's going to help u obtain your goals, I read u don't like cardio, (I don't enjoy it either) but u really need to do Cardio, u don't have to do a long session, u can start with 25-30 min..

Drink plenty of water, and remember to keep your diet clean.

    Best of luck to u

Hi there - I'm older than you, but no kids so my hat is off to you. Kindly read homework 1 and get back to me with your "macros" - you'll know what that means when you've read it. Welcome to the forum.
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.
