Some advice for my wife! Want to confirm my theory

Well, For the last good part of 8 months, my wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer, she has had multiple surgeries. the prognosis seems good, and a few more procedures are left to be done, and we may be in the clear.

Her drive to have sex is their to an extent, but the act of doing it, or even arousing her hurts becasue of the cramping involved, and penetration. ( some days are better than others )

She is 5'9 and normally through the years weighs 150, 3 kids, doesn't really workout, besides running around constantly with the kids. in the last 8 months, becasue of treatments, and surgeries, she now weighs 120lbs.

Her want to eat is slim, and when its their we take full advantage. She relies on pain meds almost daily, to cope, and it has really affected our life's as a whole.

Just recently, I started giving her, 10mg of anavar/ed I did run it by a good friend who is an OBGYN, and he approved. He asked me why I wanted to do so, and my theory is this.

Anavar, will help increase red blood cell count, this should help with energy as she bleeds, 30 days out of the month, weather its heavy or spotted.

Anavar, will help increase protien synthesis, helping her recover faster, maybe put on some lean muslce lost from this ordeal.

Anavar will also increase collagen synthesis, protecting from injuries, and so on, when dealing with daily dealings.

Am I missing any other benefits a 10mg dose for a non body building women could benefit from the use of it?

Should I dose her at 10mg/ed or EOD ?

Should we worry about enlarged clitoris, hair growth deepening of voice and so on at such a low dose?

Im experience with its use for my goals, but as for its use for something other than body building, or building muslce.

I feel like, and she agrees, in the last week she has began taking it, she has started feeling more energy. and her appetite has increased slightly.

Will anavar also increase her sex drive?

Thank you all for your help and concern

The next big surgery will be the hysterectomy, and that should solve the issues indefinitely, and as I see it, if she is on anavar at the time of the surgery, it will help her recover faster.

    Am I missing anything?

    Thank you

Sex drive means jack shit if it hurts for her to have sex. Really, if you ask me, it all comes down to recovery and healing of the area. It can be prolonged if further trauma is applied to the area, and I doubt you want that. Look into ways of helping her heal quicker; foods, vitamins, etc.

Dont misconstrue my post as single track minded, as to sex only.

I want her to start feeling better, in terms of energy, and recovery, and saw anavar as a best fit.

If it happens to help heal the area, and allows us to be intimate great! if not, that is not the total goal here.

Var will definitely help her recover faster, possibly better sense of well-being, etc. If she's also underweight this will help - make your food good quality so it doesn't just turn to fat. Var can make people appear "thicker" instead of leaner if they aren't already lean, but in your case its a different situation.

RE: the enlarged clitoris, etc. - yes expect this. And probably a bump in sex drive because of the increased sensitivity 'down there'. But still give precedence to her comfort if she's still healing in terms of sex. Shouldn't see any lowering of voice, etc. May experienced increased blood pressure, headaches, etc. This is not uncommon, but is not the typical. If she is still having a regular menstrual cycle, probably expect this to stop regular flow while on var. And possibly some acne. 10 mg / day is a typical dosing size - its not huge but relative to her normal hormone profile it is a significant bump in test level. Even the old 2.5 mg BTG anavars can produce some sides simply because any amount is going to produce a change in hormone profile.

If you can dose it smaller, e.g. 5 mg / day I'd suggest that. But also keep the dosing to more regular - at a min 1/ day, better if you can split to 2/day (e.g 5mg x 2/day) to match the half-life.

Sassy! Thank you for your time and response, The world of aas is something Im very familiar with, but its use for women, bodybuilding and non bodybuilding is new to me.

As for the enlarged or "bigger" clitoris, is this temporary or permanent, and so on?, I have mentioned to her what the dose can do, but the benefits do out weigh the risks, I just would hate myself if that "aspect" of the dosing affects her self image persay.

right now we are doing 10mg daily, split into 5mg am, and 5mg pm. But if it seems much, I may adjust to 5mg daily instead.

Your response and input is extremely valued.

    Thank you!

Oldschoollifter, WOW, that is a lot for you and her to be going through. Hang in there.
From my experience with aas, the clitoris is not a permanent thing. Once I stop, I tend to go back to "normal" in that area. That may not happen for everyone though. I am with Sassy, the sensitivity does increase quiet a bit and that is not a bad thing

The effects of var will stay for about 3 weeks past the stop date. (See: detection time) and it will go back to normal. You really need to pound & repeat cycles to get "permanent" sides.

But all of it comes w/ the caveat that the effects will be individual. Some even experience water retention on it - so play it by ear. For recovery, I'm sure 5 mg / day is very sufficient.

With any cancer possibly still present in the body I think a test based drug could accelerate cancer growth.

thank you for the kind words and help everyone.

Moe, I did think about that, but I haven't found evidence it will speed the spread of the cancer, so for now, the benefits offered by anavar, should help her at this point in time.

My heart goes out to you both. The same thing happened to my mother and she put on a lot of weight and had to have ovarian cysts removed. It was really scary seeing her go through that and watch her prepare for the worse, but then she pulled through and is in the clear running around having a good time like she's half her age.

Hate to hear you and your Wife are going thru this. Have you given any thought as to using GH. That might give you what your looking for without any sides. The only draw back might be if any Cancer cells are left they would more than likely grow a lot faster. I would check with your Gyn friend on this. Hope and prayers to you guys OldTex
