    Quad Pain

Was doing barbell split squats last week and as I bent down with my right leg up, my quad just pulled right at the lowest point of descent as I was pushing up. I literally dropped to the ground. Didn't feel nice.

This is the first time I've ever felt something like this in the quad area.

I iced it big time the first 24-48 hours. It's been a few days. I can walk without issue. If I go into a slow jog I feel a little aggravation. Oddly enough, if I kneel down on my right knee, where the injured quad is, and get up using that right leg, I feel some pain. Wierd. If I do the opposite, don't feel it as much.

Anyways, anyone have any thoughts on best course of action? Just rest it up? Thoughts on how long this may take to heal? I'm thinking it's a strain. Maybe even a small tear. 2-4 weeks?
