    Healthy Male (32 YRS) - Erection Problems - pls advise.

    I know this subject is being brought up again and again by forum members, but I'm starting to wonder if my situation is 'unique'.

    Short story: I have trouble getting it up often and trouble keeping it up also.

    - I do not smoke or drink;
    - I exercise 3 - 4 times per week (cardio rare though)
    - I eat very healthy, lots of greens and berries daily;

    I am the perfect weight for my height. I had blood tests done that came back normal. So, I am at a loss and yes, performance anxiety has set in as a constant because of how frequently it has happened.

    The only thing I've ever found to work is NOT MASTURBATING for an extended period (i usually masturbate once a day, but cutting it to every 4 days seems to ensure that I get spontaneous erections more often).

    So my questions are as follows:

    1) Is masturbating daily likely to be the cause? How many times does the average male ejaculate per week, and at what point will it cause erectile dysfunction?

    2) Can anyone identify any other cause (beyond just performance anxiety)

    3) Are there any legitimate solutions to boosting my libido / hardness beyond the 3 pills described in this forum? (viagra, cialis, etc.). I would like to fix the health problem at the core instead of use pills.

    your mind can play ALL kinds of tricks on your body. i'm not a doctor by any means, but i think your problem is psychological. it happened a few times, for whatever reason, and now your preoccupied with it. it's fucking with your mind (ie: performance anxiety). maybe try some liquid cialis from the cel store (great stuff from what i hear). that will get your confidence back up and soon you won't need it anymore (unless you have a special weekend planned and want to show off, porn star style).

    just my 2 cents. . .

    Pin some iPT 141. You'll be worn out before it goes down.

    My two cents, I assume you doc ruled out prolactinoma, if he did , sometimes venous leaks in young men can cause problems with maintaining an erection without any problems initiating an erection, a urologist can sort that out. Venous leaks can be structural, but anxiety can also prevent the smooth muscle relaxation that is necessary for maintaining an erection. Usually, a male your age that has both problems with initiation and maintaining has performance anxiety. In older men, it is due to peripheral vascular disease, poor blood flow to the penis, whereas venous leak is good blood flow to the penile corporus but the "drainage" or leak is accellerated. Paxil helps with premature ejaculation , ( men can maintain an erection without coming too quickly), sometimes it helps men with performance anxiety and when you get back to normal you can stop it after a few months. anyway, talk with your doc, not some yahoo on the internet.

    you are addicted to porn. stop it. you already know that when you don't jack off/look at porn, you get spontaneous erections. you body thinks your hand is pussy and doesn't know what the real thing is anymore. one day you are going to hook up with a hot little number, not be able to perform, and you will both be embarrassed. put the porn away dude, don't jerk your shit for a full month, it will be like you are 16 again

    some docs are more thorough than others...

    brings up a funny case where I had a 19 year old lose interest in sex.....anyway , went everywhere, his testosterone was down but not because of the usual reasons. He was drinking over 2 gallons of soy milk a day, the soy estrogens were suppressing his male hormones. He stopped drinking all that soy milk and went back to rutting like a pig. It was funny, because he had gone to every specialist and it was my medical student who asked him that simple question and figured it out.

    yup, the simplest answer is most often the correct one, just like this case. he jerks it too much. if he was able to stay away from himself for even one week he would be walking around with a U.S. built patriot missile in his jeans.
