If it's just a mood thing, a supplement like theanine does help. When my wife's mom died I gave her it and even though she was still in mourning, she was able to function in a capacity within the crisis at the time.

Good to hear; drugs arent always the answer-unless it is a severe case. I am still searching for a natural way to control my grand mal seizures..I hate the meds I'm on. fucking hate it!

Could be a deficiency in something. Are you eating a well balanced diet? Getting all your vitamins? A lot of these problems are a result of poor diet choices or deficiency in diet essentials over time.

Could be thyroid... My mom has that and it is a bitch. She is either motivated and mean or unmotivated and happy. The scary thing with that is it is hereditary.

Hell yea stress effects T levels. My work is insane right now and my blood work shows it. Cortisol sky high with free test driven down by SHBG levels. I've been mega dosing on Vitamin C and it's helped out allot.

I think you must first of all consult a good doctor to your problem otherwise it may leads to serious hazards.

I think we all sometimes get down in the dumps. When I get like this a just step back and look at what I got going for me and be gratefull for what I have. It sometimes takes awhile to get out of first gear. Heck, go out and just do something good for somebody you don't know. Feed a homeless person. Go to a old age home and talk to some of the old timers. Just go do something good for somebody else. In return that might ask you why. Just tell them to pay it foward and help somebody else.

depression is bad . trouble is dat most meds also lower your test levels also . its a case of waying pros wit cons . also depression has many different symtoms dat change from each person . anger , ultra sensitive , constantly feeling weepy , most depressives are actually more agressive than testod up lifters . if its a real prob , dont run from it . just find right med and do all obvious tings like dont drink , smoke ganja . ive been on venlafaxine for three years now and have trained consistently throughout . am at 30 and am stronger than most guys i know . not all but most . depression weakens your mind , in turn weakening your soul and den body . sort the mind out and the rest will follow . because after all , strengh of mind beats strength of body hands down . peace .

my mother had bipolar and it was a lot worse, but maybe try speaking to a couple of different doctors. try talking to phychiatrists and try to reach out to others. you'd be surprised how many people have similar problems, and often are even worse. you will learn to be more grateful after you hear others' experiences.
