    Hi, asking advice

I've been lifting for over 50 years.

For at least a couple of years now - when I do leg presses with 265 pounds - (and sometimes other times) I've had a small popping in my chest just below my heart (right where the stomach begins)

I never worried about it and it causes no pain. My stomach has quite a bit of fat on it and I figured it was just fat rolling around.

Recently my doctor told me I fit an aneurysm profile and since my father died of an aortic aneurysm and both my brothers had them - he has ordered an ultrasound to check it out.

I'm the only one of 4 who has exercised almost all my life but he says it is genetic as often as anything.

I'm wondering if I should give up my leg presses until after the ultrasound.

Has anyone had a similar experience and what did it turn out to be.

    Thanks much MajorHart

Better safe than sorry. I'd at least stop until after the ultrasound.
