was it an MRI-Arthrigram(sp?) Where they inject a dye into your shoulder?

I can only speak about my experience, I had my Labrum repaired. I was about 4 months before I was pushing my luck doing things. and 6 months before I started to feel pretty comfortable.

Just the scope probably won't set you back for that long. I suspect you will be back in the gym pretty soon.

It's a process. Do your rehab and ice as instructed. It will be atleast three months before you're balls to the walls.

Do what the Dr tels you!

I tore my rotor cuf tendon 50% had Bursits so bad they removed it and they shaved the bone spurs off and a 1 1/2mm off the acromian! Ouch dosent begin to describe it! This is a Must! ask your DR. For an Ice Machine it circulates cold H2O through a shoulder cuff best pain reliver I had, better than the pills!! It took me 4 1/2 months too heal and no the MRI only showed the bone spurs not all the other damage! Do all the perscribed PT and don't rush it! Listen to the DR for your after care too you do not want to get frozen shoulder! Good luck!

Glad to hear everything came out well. How are you feeling and recovering from the scope?

I have a VQ CoolCare. You can buy attachments for back, shoulders, knees and elbows. Totally worth the money. After my back surgery, I kept falling asleep and getting freezer burn until I bought it. Mide is a coller and attachments, and you just put blue ice packets in the machine.
