I heard people losing gallstones and shit through a fast with lemons and olive oil. Just anecdotes though

Anyone ever do a cleansing fast? I see on the Levrone report he led a 3 day cleasing fast. Kevin has some interesting ideas. I like his overall philosophy although some of his methods are a bit strange. The fast he did used a 1-2 gallons of water laced with lemon squeezings and a tablespoon of honey per gallon. That's it for 3 days. He did video for the entire time and claimed a feeling of mental clarity by day 2. Morning cardio was performed. I don't recall what if any weight training was performed. Figure a 3000 cal burn rate per day with moderate activity: morning cardio, light weight training 2/3 days and daily activity would burn 9000 cals with nominal input. Put get into ketosis fast. Then maybe keep the diet clean and at a low carb level. I imagine one could drop up to 2 lbs of BF or close. Any experience?

There's nothing to "cleanse" in your body. Your colon does not need "cleansing".
Fasting, in general, can be a good thing if done properly. Check out leangains.com for information on intermittent fasting.
Levrone's perceived "mental clarity" can be a result of a variety of factors in including placebo. On the other hand, it may be caused by the fasting.
I like the colon hydrotherpy better than any other type of cleansing.

This heavy cleansing fast is organized to clean your colon of pesticides, preservatives, dyes, drug residues and parasites that may be imbedded in the thick hard mucus lining that builds up over many years. Because this fast will be taxing, plan to rest or do only light work for the next two to six days, which is the recommended length of this fast. See "Understand a Cleansing Fast for the Large Intestine." We recommend that you consult with your physician before doing this or any other fast.
