Thread: Rare phantom smell

As the title says I have rare phantom smell. Not more then ones a month. I have this for 10+ years now, probably more but never paid any attention to it.

Phantom smell is triggered only by some, well i don't have a right word to describe it so I will try to give an example.

I'm watching some game on TV and suddenly I feel like i watched that par and everything around me isn't in focus, only thing that triggered it, in this case game on TV. I get i strange feeling in my entire body, and like i had lived that part who knows when. When i tried to figure it out when, date, place.... and i fail then the phantom smell appears and i fell weak. If i remember, like i watch similar game with friend, then nothing happens.

I know how it sounds and I know few ppl who have the same thing as I do, but no one knows what it is?

Anyone here had/has same thing as I?

This happened to me the last time my gout flared up. I woke up and thought it was wednesday so I put my trash out. I thought it was odd that the bins were still not dumped at 5 pm so I ate some mescaline and called the garbage company to complain. according to them it was monday. I feel this hole in time was due to lack of rest and gout.
