New on the market, proven and extremely effective ! Our Neck support holds your head in a normal upright position, providing a flexible fit unlike other soft collars. Our neck support is designed for people that cannot hold their head up in a upright position.
It is effective for recovery for almost any neck injury and neck strain problem.
It is a neck support brace (system) made of plastic tubing with support links that can be changed (adjusted) for longer or shorter necks. It provides a flexible fit that keeps the head in a upright (normal) position. It has a very low profile appearance with a flexible structure that will not weaken the neck from restricted movement. This is unlike most neck braces and soft collars. I have a condition called torticollis. My chin is all the way down to my chest. There is no cure .The doctors would not put me in a typical brace. The doctors said it would actually weaken my neck, so I invented a superior neck brace that provides support, while giving the head full range of motion.
Neck Support Brace & Features
neck support brace is made of flexible synthetic tubing that holds the head in an upright comfortable natural position. It comes with several different vertical link sizes that are easily removable and replaced for a more custom tailored fit. Unique in its design this support is flexible and can be worn for extended periods of time without causing the neck to weaken because it's non-restrictive to movement of the neck. This orthopedic support has a firm fit with a durable Velcro fastener, and comes with a comfortable removable machine washable cover.
This unique new brace provides 360 degree support as needed, and can be used for a variety of conditions. Because this device does not restrict head and neck movement it does not degrade muscle tone of the individual wearing it. In addition while being worn it allows for full range of motion of the head. It also visually improves posture, can aid with balance, and can help in prevention of muscle spasms, and neck fatigue.
Shane's neck support brace can replace less aesthetically pleasing devices while providing support and comfort. This unique design is called it a style frame brace. It is very light weight, has ease of application and removal, and is easily kept clean.
Medical Information
I have known Shane Peters now for approximately six years. He has been my patient for this number of years. When he came to me he was suffering from severe torticollis -which is stiffening of the neck muscles drawing the head to one side with the chin pointing (usually) toward the other side, and appeared to be a tonic state (or permanent). Various methods of treatment were tried in an effort to rectify this, but to no avail. Shane had been working on a project - that of making a neck brace out of stiff - yet bendable- tub- ing, and over the past year has perfected it. He has told me that he now has a patent on it and hopes to be able to market it. Shane has worn one of these braces he made for the past several months, and has been able to hold his head errect, and feel more confident.
In my observation over the past several months, he definitely has improved, has described less discomfort in his neck, and has a better out look on life. It appears that he has a good product that can help other people with this condition, or for any condition that a good supportive neck brace would be needed. It is also adjustable so that it can be adjusted to fit anyone. I commend him for his work and foresight, and I recommend it.
