    Preserve muscle mass

    Soon I will have a surgery and then I won't be able to train for a month. How do I preserve my mass?

    Adequate calories/protein + anabolics.

    by adequate calories/protein you mean maintenance? (I dont do anabolics)

    Yeah. BCAA, glutamine, creatine. Maybe some ephedrine to keep you in a positive nitrogen balance.
